Political Cartoon Analysis: Theories/fall of Rome: TO BE DONE IN YOUR NOTEBOOK
Task: You will be analyzing the images below and indicating what main theory, from the notes, do you think the image represents.
What does it mean to analyze? To analyze an image, you must extract important information from an image and it's subtle cues.

Political Cartoon Pre Project Ideas:
Before you begin drawing your political cartoon based on ONE of the Four Theories to the Fall of Rome, you will indicate what theory you think you would like to focus on (it can change). Then you will list a few ideas of how you will represent your theory with images.

Directions: You will be creating your own political cartoon based off ONE of the theories we have discussed in class all last week; Poor Leadership, Large Empire, Inflation, and Rise of Christianity.
Criteria:
Step 1: Choose your theory or theories)
* You will need to create ONE political cartoon (a scene). You may use 2 theories if you want (theories do overlap)
*remember you will need to analyze 5 subtle clues (images)
Price Sign, people bartering, less gold in coins, foreign soldiers not being loyal). This will be explained more during the analysis portion.

You will need to provide 5 examples (and 3 bullet points to explain the image) to explain how your political cartoon drawing depicts your theory
